In today’s episode, we take close look at the process romance author, Jami Albright uses to keep her books tickling the Amazon algorithms, staying near the top of the sales charts, and generating around $5,000 in royalties each month. Jami manages all of this despite the fact that she’s published only two books, both in the last year.
Jami is an active participant in the 20booksto50k Facebook Group, so when I saw that she’d come close to 50k with just two books, I had to talk to her, if for no other reason than to be able to title an episode 2 books to 43k.
I’ve known and followed Jami, and this show delivers way more than just a great title. We also get some great laughs and insights from an author who gladly shares both the hits and the misses in this episode of The Author Biz.

Really great podcast–my second here and I’ll definitely be back for more. I loved how positive and real Jami was and her great sense of humor. Thanks for all the info!
Thanks for listening AND leaving the comment 😉
Fabulous podcast! Thanks for all that helpful info. Just one thing, why is there a link to Amazon Marketing Services? I got a scare when I clicked onto it because it showed MY AMS report page!
We mentioned AMS ads, so the person who edits the shows and takes the notes posted the link.
Great show! I learned a lot, especially as someone who can’t produce a ton of books each year. And hello to Jami from a fellow Houstonian!
Thanks for listening, Connie!
