In this week’s episode, we’re speaking with Honorée Corder and Brian Meeks, the co-authors of The Prosperous Writer’s Guide to Finding Readers, which is publishing today, exclusively at Amazon.
In this show, the three of us will consider the marketing mindset that both Honorée and Brian believe is critical to being able to market your books effectively in today’s crowded market.
Honorée makes it a practice to do at least 7 things each day to market her books, and by having done that since beginning her publishing career well before the days of the ebooks, she’s developed the ability to see opportunities for marketing that many others do not.
In this episode, we’ll cover some of what the authors call “ninja tactics” for finding new readers, the importance of understanding the return on your time investment, specific advice for building your email list, how Brian has strengthened his marketing mindset since beginning to write with Honorée and much more.

Thanks for the great info you three. My fave: the set it and forget it ninja tactics. There’s no excuse not to do these peeps!
So very true, thanks for chiming in. I look forward to speaking with you next week 🙂
Good stories, though most of the examples seemed geared to selling hard copies. The ‘Reader Group’ being more effective than the ‘Newsletter’ was surprising, since you’d think most readers don’t want to potentially become engaged.
Thanks so much, Stephen. Learned a lot of ninja tactics here that I hope to put (at least some of them) in action.
Blessings,
E
Awesome, thanks for letting us know!
Hi Stephen,
I put into practice one of the ninja tactics today: This morning I dropped off a copy of one of my books at Starbucks. It felt strange, but I did it 🙂
And thanks Honorée and Brian. I’ll be dropping more of my books now . . .
Blessings,
E
